Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Hearing Aid Repair Technician to join our team, responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing hearing aids and other medical supportive devices. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in electrical engineering or biomedical technology, alongside exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. This role requires hands-on experience in device repair, diagnostic testing, and customer service, ensuring optimal performance of hearing aids for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues with hearing aids and other medical devices using specialized tools and techniques.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on hearing aids, ensuring they meet industry standards.
- Construct custom hearing aid devices based on individual patient specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and tests to identify potential malfunctions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used and service history.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in hearing aid technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in electronics, biomedical technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a hearing aid repair technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuitry and digital technology.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Certification in hearing aid technology or related areas is preferred.
