Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in health information systems, database management, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance, and data privacy standards.
  • Proficiency in database design, SQL, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail in data collection and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train staff and collaborate with healthcare teams.
  • Certifications such as Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) are preferred.
