Job Brief
The Global Command and Control System Common Operational Picture/Maritime 4.X (GCCS COP/M 4.X) Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the effective operation and monitoring of communications, detection, and weapons systems integral to coordinating air, ground, and naval operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in military operations and a strong understanding of command and control systems. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor advanced communication systems to facilitate coordination between air, naval, and ground forces.
- Maintain and relay critical information to support decision-making processes for high-level military and government officials.
- Implement and manage emergency response plans during natural disasters and wartime scenarios.
- Monitor and interpret data from surveillance and detection systems, including air defense systems.
- Evaluate tactical situations and provide actionable recommendations to superiors based on real-time analysis.
- Operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure mission success.
- Collaborate with other military branches to enhance interoperability and operational readiness.
- Document and report operational activities and system performance to maintain compliance with military standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in military command and control operations, specifically with GCCS COP/M 4.X or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of military tactics, procedures, and operations in air, ground, and naval environments.
- Technical proficiency in using surveillance, detection, and weapons targeting systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to relay complex information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to analyze and interpret real-time data to inform critical decision-making processes.
- Familiarity with emergency response protocols and crisis management techniques.
- Relevant certifications in military operations or command and control systems are preferred.
- Must be able to work in high-pressure environments and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
