Responsibilities

- Advise and mentor students on academic and career opportunities in the GIS field.
- Collaborate with faculty and industry stakeholders to enhance the GIS curriculum and program offerings.

- Participate in departmental meetings, community outreach, and service initiatives.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at the university level, with a focus on GIS-related subjects.
- Strong proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
- Experience in spatial data analysis, geostatistics, and remote sensing techniques.
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals showcasing expertise in geospatial topics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
