Job Brief
As a Gasoline Pump Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gasoline dispensing systems and related equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of fuel pump technology and safety protocols, along with hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical systems. Responsibilities
- Install gasoline pumps and related fuel dispensing equipment according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on fueling systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to gasoline pumps, tanks, and associated electrical components.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to determine installation requirements and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair work performed on gasoline dispensing systems.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on the proper use and maintenance of fuel dispensing equipment.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, safety regulations, and best practices related to gasoline pump installation and maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanical or electrical systems preferred.
- Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of gasoline pumps, fuel dispensers, and related equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and plumbing standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
