Job Brief
The Foil Stamp Operator is responsible for the setup and operation of foil stamping machines, ensuring high-quality binding and finishing of printed products, including books and publications. Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust foil stamping machines for optimal performance and precision.
- Operate foil stamping and binding machinery to produce high-quality finished products.
- Inspect printed materials for quality assurance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Maintain and perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure specifications are met.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all operations.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of jobs completed.
- Train and mentor junior operators on machine operation and best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in printing technology is a plus.
- Proven experience as a foil stamp operator or in a similar role within the printing industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills related to machinery operation.
- Familiarity with various binding and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and production schedules.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
