Job Brief
As a Florist, you will be responsible for designing, cutting, and arranging live, dried, or artificial flowers and foliage to create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions. Responsibilities
- Design and create custom floral arrangements for weddings, events, and special occasions.
- Cut and prepare flowers and foliage to ensure freshness and longevity.
- Maintain and manage floral inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in selecting floral designs that meet their needs.
- Arrange flowers in various styles and techniques, including bouquets, centerpieces, and wreaths.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including tools and equipment.
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques to enhance floral design skills.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill large orders and special requests efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Florist or in a related floral design role.
- Strong knowledge of floral design techniques, materials, and tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work creatively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a passion for aesthetics in floral arrangements.
- Basic knowledge of plant care and maintenance.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as required.
- Formal education in floral design or related fields is a plus.
