Job Brief
The Flight Crew Ordnanceman plays a vital role in aviation missions, ensuring the effective operation of aircraft during combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue operations. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain aircraft communications and detection equipment to support mission objectives.
- Establish satellite linkages and implement strategies to jam enemy communications.
- Conduct preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Manage the operation and maintenance of aircraft weapons and defensive systems.
- Oversee in-flight refueling processes, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Execute aircraft safety and emergency procedures, maintaining crew and passenger safety.
- Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, and special equipment.
- Facilitate cargo and personnel drops as required during missions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military training in aviation or related field preferred.
- Experience with aircraft operations, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Proficient in operating aircraft communications and detection systems.
