Job Brief
We are seeking a talented Film Maker to lead and produce compelling stage, television, radio, video, or film productions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in directing and producing, with a strong portfolio that showcases their creative vision and ability to interpret scripts effectively. The Film Maker will be responsible for making critical creative decisions, including casting actors, designing sets, managing sound and special effects, and orchestrating choreography to create impactful visual storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Produce and direct diverse media projects including films, television shows, and web content.
- Interpret scripts and develop storyboards to visualize concepts and narrative flow.
- Select and collaborate with actors, crew, and other key personnel throughout the production process.
- Oversee set design, lighting, sound, and special effects to ensure high-quality production values.
- Coordinate with production teams to manage budgets, schedules, and logistics efficiently.
- Direct rehearsals and performances, providing guidance to actors and crew to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all production phases.
- Review and edit footage to create a final product that meets artistic and technical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Film Maker, Producer, or Director with a strong portfolio of past work.
- Proficiency in film editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong understanding of cinematography, sound design, and post-production processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Creative vision with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in the film and television industry.
