As an FBI Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations related to suspected violations of federal, state, or local laws. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive investigations into suspected criminal activities, gathering and analyzing evidence.
- Interview witnesses, suspects, and informants to gather intelligence and information.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of investigative findings for prosecution or further action.
- Collaborate with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to share information and resources.
- Utilize advanced investigative techniques, including surveillance, forensics, and data analysis.
- Participate in case strategy meetings and contribute to the development of investigation plans.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and investigative practices relevant to federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
- Testify in court as necessary, presenting findings and evidence in a clear and professional manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of investigative experience in law enforcement or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in report writing.
- Familiarity with investigative tools and techniques, including digital forensics and surveillance methods.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required for investigations.
- Background check and security clearance eligibility required.
