Job Brief

Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair fabric awnings, canopies, and related structures to ensure maximum durability and functionality.
- Utilize sewing machines and hand tools to repair and replace damaged fabric components.
- Measure and cut fabric materials accurately to meet specific job requirements.
- Install new awnings and canopies according to manufacturer specifications and local regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair options and timelines.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and best practices.
- Document all service work performed and materials used for accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and high-quality results.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fabric Awning Repairer or in a similar role within the awning industry.
- Strong knowledge of various fabric materials and their properties.
- Experience with sewing techniques and operation of sewing machines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.
- Certification in safety practices and first aid is a plus.
