Responsibilities

- Monitor weather conditions and report potential fire risks to relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with local fire departments and environmental agencies to coordinate fire response efforts.
- Educate the public on fire safety and prevention practices through community outreach programs.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, fire incidents, and prevention initiatives.
- Participate in training sessions and drills to enhance firefighting and emergency response skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire management, emergency services, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of fire regulations, fire behavior, and forest ecology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess fire risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Certification in Wildland Firefighting or Fire Management is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments and under varying weather conditions.
- Proficiency in using GIS and fire management software tools is an advantage.
