Responsibilities
- Set up and operate engraving machines to produce designs on various materials.
- Interpret customer specifications and artwork to ensure accurate engraving results.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on engraving equipment.
- Work with various materials including metal, wood, rubber, and plastics to create engravings.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop and refine engraving techniques.
- Monitor production schedules and meet delivery deadlines for engraving projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an engraver or in a related field.
- Strong understanding of various engraving techniques and technologies.
- Familiarity with CAD software and design principles.
- Ability to operate engraving machines, including laser and rotary engravers.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
