Job Brief
The End Loader Operator is responsible for operating heavy machinery to load, move, and transport materials on construction and industrial sites. Responsibilities
- Operate end loaders and other heavy machinery to load, move, and transport materials.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Transport materials to designated areas while adhering to site regulations.
- Monitor load limits and adjust operations to prevent equipment damage.
- Document work activities and maintain accurate records of equipment usage.
- Assist in training new operators and provide guidance on equipment safety.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as an end loader operator or similar role in construction or heavy industry.
- Valid operator’s license and certification for heavy machinery operation.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices for equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
