Job Brief
The Electronic Warfare Operational Intelligence Crewman plays a critical role in supporting military operations through the effective use of electronic warfare tactics and intelligence gathering. This position requires expertise in operating and maintaining advanced aircraft communications and detection systems while ensuring the success of combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions. Candidates should possess strong technical skills, experience in aviation operations, and a thorough understanding of electronic warfare principles.
Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft communications and detection equipment to support mission objectives.
- Establish satellite linkages and execute jamming of enemy communication systems.
- Conduct preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard electronic warfare equipment.
- Maintain and operate aircraft weapons and defensive systems to ensure mission readiness.
- Manage and operate in-flight refueling systems as required during missions.
- Implement aircraft safety and emergency procedures effectively.
- Compute and verify passenger, cargo, fuel, and emergency equipment weight and balance data.
- Oversee cargo and personnel drops in alignment with operational goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military experience or relevant technical training preferred.
- Proven experience in aviation operations, preferably in a military environment.
- Strong understanding of electronic warfare systems and tactics.
- Familiarity with aircraft safety protocols and emergency response measures.
- Technical proficiency in operating complex electronic equipment and software.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and make critical decisions.
- Valid pilot’s license or relevant certifications may be required based on the specific role.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
