Job Brief
The Electronic Gambling Device Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations and activities of gambling areas within casinos, ensuring a seamless and compliant gaming experience. This role requires strong leadership skills, as the supervisor will directly manage staff, monitor gaming tables and devices, and ensure adherence to gaming regulations. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of gaming staff in assigned areas, ensuring efficient operations.
- Circulate among gaming tables and electronic gambling devices to monitor gameplay and address any issues.
- Verify and process jackpot payouts, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations.
- Reset and make necessary repairs or adjustments to electronic gambling devices, including slot machines.
- Recommend the removal of malfunctioning devices for repair and maintenance.
- Plan and organize gaming activities and services to enhance the guest experience in hotels and casinos.
- Train and mentor staff on operational procedures, customer service, and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of gaming operations, payouts, and employee performance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in gaming management is a plus.
- Proven experience in the gaming industry, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of gaming regulations, compliance standards, and operational procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective team management and guest interaction.
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in operating and troubleshooting electronic gambling devices and systems.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
