Job Brief
The Electronic Drafter will play a critical role in the design and development of electronic systems by preparing detailed wiring diagrams, circuit board assembly diagrams, and layout drawings. Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare detailed wiring and layout diagrams for electronic systems and components.
- Create circuit board assembly drawings that comply with industry standards and specifications.
- Utilize CAD software to generate high-quality drafts and schematics for electrical equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to ensure accuracy and functionality of designs.
- Review and revise existing design documentation as needed to improve clarity and compliance.
- Assist in the troubleshooting and modification of designs based on feedback and testing results.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation for easy access and review.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance drafting practices.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in electronic drafting or electrical engineering.
- Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, with a focus on electrical design.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit theory.
- Experience with PCB design and layout, including familiarity with relevant software tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers and project stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to electronic drafting is a plus.
