The Electrical Engineering Director will lead and manage engineering teams focused on innovative design and development in electrical systems and architectures. Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate engineering activities related to electrical systems, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for R&D initiatives in electrical engineering.
- Oversee project management processes, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product development and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering professional growth and technical expertise.
- Analyze market trends and technological advancements to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale engineering projects and cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design software and simulation tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
