Job Brief
The Donor Relations Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities to solicit and maintain funds for special projects within nonprofit organizations. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive donor relations strategies to increase donor engagement and retention.
- Create and manage donor stewardship programs that nurture relationships and recognize donor contributions.
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns, special events, and initiatives to solicit donations for nonprofit projects.
- Analyze donor data and trends to identify opportunities for expanding donor bases and enhancing fundraising efforts.
- Prepare and present reports on donor engagement metrics and fundraising performance to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of donor relations efforts with organizational goals.
- Manage donor databases, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely communication with donors.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in donor relations and fundraising.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in donor relations, fundraising, or nonprofit management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in donor management software and CRM systems.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to improve donor engagement.
- Experience in developing and implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of nonprofit regulations and ethical fundraising practices.
