Job Brief

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure high-quality standards are met and address any maintenance issues promptly.
- Train and mentor cleaning personnel in proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and use of cleaning equipment.
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Implement health and safety regulations to provide a safe working environment for staff and patrons.
- Handle employee performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution as necessary.
- Collaborate with management to establish budgetary guidelines and cost-effective cleaning practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in custodial management or related fields preferred.
- Proven experience in custodial services or facilities management, with prior supervisory experience highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and best practices in custodial operations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Proficient in safety regulations and procedures related to cleaning and maintenance.
