Job Brief

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. The Courier will be responsible for picking up and delivering messages, documents, packages, and other items between offices or departments, as well as directly to clients and business partners. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently. Previous experience in a courier or delivery role is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and messages promptly and accurately.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes to minimize travel time and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery status and any issues that arise.
  • Ensure the safe transportation of items to prevent damage and loss.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating a vehicle or other means of transport.
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Assist with additional logistical tasks as needed to support the team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if applicable).
  • Proficient in using GPS and mapping tools for route planning.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
  • Basic computer skills to track deliveries and manage schedules.
