As a Counterintelligence Officer/Human Source Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Officer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding national security by identifying, assessing, and mitigating threats posed by adversarial intelligence operations. Responsibilities
- Conduct intelligence operations to detect and neutralize potential threats from foreign intelligence entities.
- Develop and maintain human intelligence sources to gather actionable information.
- Analyze and assess intelligence data to inform decision-making and operational strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance situational awareness and intelligence-sharing.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on intelligence findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in intelligence operations.
- Utilize advanced technical tools and methodologies for intelligence analysis and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Security Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in intelligence operations, with a focus on CI/HUMINT.
- Proven expertise in intelligence analysis and operational planning methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for effective source development.
- Familiarity with intelligence community practices and legal frameworks.
- Certification from recognized intelligence or security organizations is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
