Job Brief

As a Counterintelligence (CI)/Human Source Intelligence (HUMINT) Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding national security by identifying, assessing, and countering threats posed by hostile entities. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in intelligence operations, analysis, and human resource management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a deep understanding of counterintelligence methodologies, ensuring effective information gathering and operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough counterintelligence investigations to identify and mitigate threats to national security.
  • Engage in HUMINT operations, including recruitment and management of human sources to gather actionable intelligence.
  • Analyze intelligence data to develop threat assessments and recommend strategic responses.
  • Collaborate with military and civilian agencies to share intelligence findings and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Provide training and guidance to personnel on counterintelligence techniques and HUMINT best practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on intelligence operations and findings for senior leadership.
  • Maintain operational security and confidentiality throughout all intelligence operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Security Management, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in intelligence operations, with a focus on counterintelligence and/or HUMINT.
  • Proven expertise in analytical methodologies and intelligence gathering techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in the use of intelligence analysis software and tools.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance are required.
  • Completion of relevant military or government training programs is highly desirable.
