Job Brief

The Correctional Treatment Specialist plays a crucial role in the rehabilitation of law offenders, whether in custody or under probation or parole. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
  • Experience in correctional settings or working with at-risk populations.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation methods, counseling techniques, and legal frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with offenders and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in record-keeping and using case management software.
  • Certification in a relevant field (e.g., Licensed Social Worker, Certified Addiction Counselor) is preferred.
