Job Brief
The Coin Box Collector is responsible for the installation, servicing, adjustment, and repair of various coin-operated machines, including vending machines, amusement devices, video games, juke boxes, pinball machines, and slot machines. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience in machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain coin-operated machines to ensure optimal functionality.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic issues in vending and amusement machines.
- Perform regular maintenance checks and adjustments to prevent machine malfunctions.
- Collect and manage coin revenue from machines, ensuring accurate accounting.
- Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot machine-related problems.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in coin-operated machines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or mechanical systems is a plus.
- Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of coin-operated machines.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on mechanical and electronic systems.
- Proficient in basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site service calls.
