Job Brief
As a Cab Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their desired destinations while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Operate a motor vehicle to transport passengers efficiently and safely to various locations.
- Maintain knowledge of local streets, traffic laws, and routes to ensure timely arrivals.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance and information as needed.
- Manage fare calculations, process payments, and provide receipts in accordance with regulations.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle to provide a comfortable experience for passengers.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a cab driver or in a similar transportation role.
- Strong knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for fare calculations and transaction management.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
- Must pass background checks and any required licensing exams.
