Job Brief

We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Boat Hop to deliver exceptional dining experiences outside of traditional restaurant settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for serving food and beverages in various locations, including hotel rooms, hospital rooms, residential care facilities, and vehicles. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently deliver food and beverages to clients in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all orders are accurate and meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address any client inquiries or concerns.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order preparation and delivery schedules.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Manage payment transactions and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or culinary arts is a plus.
  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as needed.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
