Job Brief
As a Bicycle Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of bicycles. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on bicycles.
- Perform routine maintenance, including tire inflation, brake adjustments, and gear tuning.
- Install and service bicycle components, such as chains, derailleurs, and handlebars.
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure bicycles meet industry standards.
- Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and educating on maintenance practices.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest bicycle technologies and industry trends.
- Manage inventory of parts and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels for repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bicycle Service Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with bicycle repair tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of various bicycle types, including road, mountain, and electric bikes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Certification in bicycle mechanics or related training is a plus.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform repairs and lift heavy bicycles.
