Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on bicycles.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including tire inflation, brake adjustments, and gear tuning.
  • Install and service bicycle components, such as chains, derailleurs, and handlebars.
  • Conduct safety inspections to ensure bicycles meet industry standards.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and educating on maintenance practices.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest bicycle technologies and industry trends.
  • Manage inventory of parts and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels for repairs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bicycle Service Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with bicycle repair tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of various bicycle types, including road, mountain, and electric bikes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Certification in bicycle mechanics or related training is a plus.
  • Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform repairs and lift heavy bicycles.
