Job Brief
As a Bar Back, you will play a vital role in supporting bartenders and ensuring a seamless bar operation. Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including glassware, ice, and garnishes, to maintain operational efficiency.
- Clean tables and bar surfaces, removing dirty dishes and glassware promptly to maintain a tidy environment.
- Replace soiled table linens and set tables to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
- Serve food items, water, condiments, and coffee to customers, enhancing their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service bar and surrounding areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management to avoid shortages.
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide exceptional service to guests.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of bar equipment for special events or busy shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patrons and team members.
- Basic knowledge of drink preparation and bar operations is a plus.
- Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
