Job Brief

As an Automotive Specialty Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and overhauling a variety of automotive vehicles. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in automotive vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other essential vehicle systems.
  • Overhaul and adjust vehicle components to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each vehicle.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service efficiency and vehicle turnaround times.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair findings and recommendations clearly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational program in automotive technology is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, electrical systems, and drivetrains.
  • ASE certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive issues effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
