Job Brief
As an Automotive Specialty Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and overhauling a variety of automotive vehicles. Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in automotive vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other essential vehicle systems.
- Overhaul and adjust vehicle components to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service efficiency and vehicle turnaround times.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair findings and recommendations clearly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational program in automotive technology is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, electrical systems, and drivetrains.
- ASE certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive issues effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
