Responsibilities
- Assess damage to automotive glass and determine the appropriate repair or replacement method.
- Remove broken or damaged windshields and window glass using specialized tools and techniques.
- Install new windshields and window glass, ensuring proper alignment and sealing.
- Perform repairs on minor chips and cracks to restore glass integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
- Educate customers on care and maintenance of installed glass.
- Document work performed and maintain records of repairs and installations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Glazier or similar role in automotive glass repair.
- Strong knowledge of automotive glass types, installation techniques, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools specific to glass installation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Certification in automotive glass replacement (preferred).
