Job Brief
As an Auto Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and applying high-quality finishes to vehicles and various surfaces. This role requires proficiency in operating spraying and rolling machines, along with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering impeccable results. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate spraying and rolling machines to coat vehicles and other products with various finishes.
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and applying primer as needed for optimal paint adhesion.
- Mix paint, varnish, and other coatings according to specifications to achieve desired color and finish.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring consistent color and smooth application.
- Maintain equipment and work area, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in coating technologies and techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Auto Painter or similar role in an auto body repair facility.
- Strong understanding of painting techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
- Familiarity with various types of coatings such as enamel, lacquer, and rust-proofing materials.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and color matching requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in auto painting or related fields is a plus.
