Job Brief
As an ASW/ASUW Tactical Air Controller (ASTAC), you will be responsible for operating and monitoring critical communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for effective air, ground, and naval operations. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor communications systems essential for coordinating air, ground, and naval operations.
- Maintain and relay critical communications between air, naval, and ground forces in real-time.
- Implement emergency plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios effectively.
- Relay command center information to military and government decision-makers accurately.
- Monitor surveillance and detection systems, including air defense systems, to ensure situational awareness.
- Interpret and evaluate tactical situations, providing actionable recommendations to superiors.
- Operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to support mission objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis of operational data to enhance decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in military tactical operations, preferably as a Tactical Air Controller or related role.
- Strong understanding of air, ground, and naval operational procedures and technologies.
- Technical proficiency in communications and weapons targeting systems.
- Ability to interpret complex data and make informed tactical decisions under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination and reporting.
- Relevant military certifications or training in tactical operations and systems.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and situational awareness.
