  • Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposit notifications to employees on scheduled pay dates.
  • Resolve discrepancies in timekeeping records and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and adhere to data protection policies.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to ensure alignment on time and attendance policies.
  • Utilize timekeeping software to generate reports and analyze trends in attendance and payroll data.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a time and attendance clerk or in a similar payroll processing role.
  • Proficient in using timekeeping and payroll software, such as ADP, Kronos, or similar systems.
  • Strong mathematical skills and experience with payroll calculations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information.
