Job Brief
As a Specialty Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking a variety of dishes, including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts, in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities

- Order and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Keep detailed records of food costs, menu pricing, and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and handling.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to improve kitchen operations and efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Specialty Cook or in a similar culinary role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
