Job Brief

Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs and refinishing techniques.
- Perform body repairs, including straightening frames and replacing damaged parts.
- Utilize tools and equipment such as welding machines, sanders, and paint sprayers to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Apply paint, primer, and other finishing materials to vehicle surfaces.
- Inspect repaired vehicles for quality assurance and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology and materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in auto body repair is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Customizer or similar role in the automotive repair industry.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body construction, repair techniques, and finishing processes.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in auto body repair and customization.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Certification from a recognized automotive repair program is a plus.
