Job Brief
As a Wall Insulation Sprayer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing energy efficiency and comfort by applying various insulating materials to structures. Responsibilities
- Line and cover walls and ceilings with insulation materials to optimize energy efficiency.
- Measure and cut insulation materials according to specifications for precise application.
- Utilize blown, batt, or roll insulation techniques in residential and commercial projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during insulation application.
- Mix and prepare insulation materials as required for specific applications.
- Inspect completed insulation work for quality and effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe and efficient working condition.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate insulation projects.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification in insulation preferred.
- Proven experience as a Wall Insulation Sprayer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of insulation materials, application techniques, and safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to insulation projects.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA safety certification is a plus.
