Job Brief
As a University Institutional Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of academic programs through comprehensive organizational studies and evaluations. You will design and implement systems and procedures that optimize institutional functions while preparing detailed operations and procedures manuals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis, and experience in conducting work simplification and measurement studies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct organizational studies to assess and improve institutional processes and performance.
- Design and implement systems and procedures that enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform work simplification and measurement studies to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive operations and procedures manuals to guide management practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data and provide insights for decision-making.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to inform program evaluations and recommendations.
- Develop and present reports and findings to university leadership and committees.
- Stay updated on best practices and trends in institutional research and higher education assessment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in institutional research, program evaluation, or a related analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple projects.
- Knowledge of higher education policies, procedures, and accreditation processes is a plus.
