Job Brief
The Signals Intelligence/Electronic Warfare Chief is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the tactical operations of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Electronic Warfare (EW) specialists. This leadership role requires extensive experience in signals intelligence analysis, electronic warfare strategies, and the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of electronic systems, and a proven track record in military or defense operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of tactical operations specialists engaged in SIGINT and EW operations.
- Develop and implement strategies for effective signals intelligence collection and electronic warfare initiatives.
- Lead training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members in advanced SIGINT and EW techniques.
- Conduct thorough analysis of collected intelligence to inform tactical decisions and operational planning.
- Ensure compliance with all technical and operational standards within the SIGINT and EW domains.
- Collaborate with other military branches and intelligence agencies to optimize information sharing and operational effectiveness.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior specialists in the field.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Signals Intelligence and Electronic Warfare operations.
- Strong understanding of electronic systems, communication protocols, and intelligence collection methodologies.
- Proficiency with SIGINT and EW equipment, tools, and software applications.
- Ability to analyze complex data and produce actionable intelligence reports.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications in SIGINT or EW disciplines are preferred.
- Active security clearance may be required based on the role and operational environment.
