Job Brief

Responsibilities
- Verify incoming merchandise against purchase orders and maintain accurate records of shipments.
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Arrange transportation for outgoing products and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare items for shipment, including packaging and labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient inventory control and storage practices.
- Utilize inventory management software to track incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Assist in periodic inventory audits and reconciliation of stock levels.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receiving clerk or in a similar role within a warehouse or retail environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
