Job Brief
As a Soldering Machine Operator, you will set up, operate, and maintain welding, soldering, and brazing machines, ensuring high-quality production of metal products, components, and assemblies. Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate soldering machines and equipment to meet production requirements.
- Operate welding, soldering, and brazing machines to fabricate and assemble metal products.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of machine operation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery.
- Train and mentor junior operators on machine operation and best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or welding preferred.
- Proven experience as a Soldering Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of soldering techniques, metal properties, and machining processes.
- Familiarity with laser cutting technology and robotic soldering systems is advantageous.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certification in welding or soldering processes is a plus.
