Job Brief
As a Sewer and Drain Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning, repairing, and maintaining septic tanks, sewer lines, and drains. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of sewer systems, drains, and septic tanks to identify issues.
- Utilize high-pressure water jets and drain snakes to clear blockages and obstructions.
- Perform repairs on damaged sewer lines and underground piping as needed.
- Patch walls and partitions of septic tanks to ensure structural integrity.
- Replace damaged drain tiles and ensure proper drainage functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and environmental guidelines during operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and educate clients on maintenance practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in plumbing or sewer maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience in sewer and drain cleaning or plumbing services.
- Strong understanding of septic systems, drainage solutions, and plumbing codes.
- Ability to operate specialized tools and equipment for sewer and drain maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in challenging conditions.
