Job Brief
The Route Delivery Clerk is responsible for verifying and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the seamless transportation of products. Responsibilities
- Verify and record incoming merchandise or materials to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Coordinate the transportation of products, maintaining effective communication with drivers and suppliers.
- Prepare items for shipment, including packing, labeling, and documentation.
- Maintain and update shipping records and inventory logs to reflect current stock levels.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues regarding shipments or inventory.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize storage and retrieval of products.
- Implement safety protocols and best practices in accordance with industry standards.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in logistics or inventory management preferred.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Familiarity with shipping regulations and safety standards.
- Experience in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
