Job Brief
As a Rotor Coil Taper, you will be responsible for winding wire coils used in various electrical components, including resistors, transformers, and motors. Responsibilities
- Wind wire coils for electrical components, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Operate winding machines and tools, adjusting settings as necessary for optimal coil production.
- Inspect finished coils for defects and ensure compliance with safety and manufacturing guidelines.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to determine coil specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize winding processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain equipment and tools, performing routine inspections and troubleshooting as needed.
- Document production processes and report any issues to management promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and quality control.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical manufacturing preferred.
- Proven experience in coil winding or related electrical assembly roles.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and maintain winding machinery.
- Familiarity with electrical components and understanding of their functions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
