Job Brief
As a Ring Polisher, you will be responsible for grinding, sanding, and polishing various materials such as metal, wood, stone, clay, plastic, or glass objects. Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and power tools to grind, sand, and polish a variety of materials, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Inspect finished products for quality, making adjustments to techniques as necessary to achieve desired results.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep work area clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Ring Polisher or in a similar polishing role within the manufacturing or jewelry industry.
- Strong knowledge of polishing techniques and familiarity with various materials such as metal and stone.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools, including buffers and chippers.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle repetitive tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications related to metalworking or craftsmanship are a plus.
