Job Brief
As a Rides Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests at amusement parks and recreational facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the operation of rides, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining equipment. Previous experience in customer service or recreational facilities is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure the safe operation of amusement rides and attractions.
- Provide assistance to guests boarding and disembarking from rides.
- Conduct regular safety checks on rides and equipment to maintain compliance with safety standards.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and provide information about ride operations and safety rules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of ride areas and surrounding environments.
- Assist in scheduling the use of recreational facilities for events and activities.
- Operate concessions and provide food and beverage service as needed.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors immediately.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in recreation management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or recreational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of safety regulations and procedures in amusement operations.
- Ability to operate ride equipment and follow safety protocols.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist guests as necessary.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
