Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and nurses, to optimize patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical evaluations and patient feedback.
  • Educate patients and families about injury prevention, rehabilitation processes, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Stay updated on advancements in rehabilitation practices and participate in continuing medical education.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with completion of residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  • Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) preferred.
  • Active medical license to practice in the relevant state.
  • Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Experience with electrodiagnostic procedures and musculoskeletal ultrasound is a plus.
