Job Brief
As a Naval Surface Fire Support Planner, you will be responsible for managing personnel and coordinating weapons operations to effectively neutralize enemy positions, aircraft, and vessels. This role requires extensive experience in planning and targeting the tactical deployment of field artillery and air defense artillery missile systems. You will direct the establishment and operation of fire control communication systems, oversee the targeting and launch of intercontinental ballistic missiles, manage the storage and handling of nuclear munitions, and ensure the security of weapons storage and launch facilities. Responsibilities
- Plan and execute tactical operations to destroy enemy positions, aircraft, and vessels using field artillery and missile systems.
- Coordinate the deployment and employment of fire support assets in support of naval operations.
- Direct the establishment and operation of fire control communications systems to ensure effective targeting and coordination.
- Oversee the targeting and launch procedures for intercontinental ballistic missiles, ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols.
- Manage the storage and handling of nuclear munitions, ensuring adherence to security measures and regulations.
- Supervise the security of weapons storage and launch facilities to prevent unauthorized access and ensure operational readiness.
- Lead maintenance operations for weapons systems, ensuring all equipment is operational and ready for deployment.
- Provide training and guidance to personnel on fire support operations and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in military operations, specifically in naval surface fire support or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of fire support planning, artillery systems, and missile operations.
- Experience with fire control communication systems and operational protocols.
- Familiarity with the management and security of nuclear munitions and components.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex tactical situations.
- Relevant military certifications or training in fire support operations and weapons management.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate coordination among military units.
