Job Brief

Responsibilities
- Operate backhoe and other heavy machinery to excavate, load, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate excavation activities and achieve project timelines.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Back Hoe Operator or in similar heavy equipment operator roles within the mining industry.
- Valid operator’s license and certifications for heavy machinery operation.
- Strong understanding of excavation techniques and safety regulations in mining operations.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with crew members.
