Job Brief
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide essential care to ill, injured, or convalescing patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and private residences. Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients’ vital signs and health status.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by registered nurses or physicians.
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-treatment care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and provide necessary assistance.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Completion of an accredited LPN program.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage.
